Fulgarite is lightening-struck sand – silica rich soil.  Lightening energy is very powerful and thought to be from the Divine.  Fulgarites are usually gray, black or brown in color.  The formation of a Fulgarite is under such extreme conditions and involves an immediate, intense experience.  Therefore, it is best used for extreme conditions in life especially when one is desiring to breakthrough in a major way into a new consciousness.  The creation of something new from something old is extreme and when using such an object, one must be sure of the intent and state it with some assurance of the desired outcome as the outcome may be as immediate and intense as was the creation of the mineral.
